GFx-Sense Rules

Like everything else, there are rules you must follow to ensure the forums stay a safe and clean place. EliteGamers is a place where you can have fun and meet new people, but there are still guidelines to follow.

Forum Rules

General

- Please Post in the correct section.

- No pornography of any kind. If there are any links or pictures posted, they will be removed and you will be permanently banned.

-Dont post anything of questionable content.

*For some reason, the above statement confuses many people. So I am going to try to put this in as simple terms as I can. Here is the difference between what is acceptable in unacceptable:
ACCEPTABLE: Lets use a girl in a bikini for example. That is not porn. No private areas are being exposed
UNACCEPTABLE: Nudity or any of that type of stuff. In the world, that type of stuff is frowned upon. So dont use it in your profile.

- Don't ask about the status of your staff application.

- No forms of racism are allowed.

- Be respectful to all members, treat others as you would want to be treated.

- No flaming

- If you think something in your sig/post/avatar might offend someone, don't use it/post it. Just be on the safe side.

- Use the Search function before making a post to ensure there are no duplicate posts.

- DONT POST HACKS!

- If you have a problem with another member of this forum, use the Private Message (PM) button to tell an admin or mod about the situation and we will do our best to resolve the situation.

- Don't spam or advertise any offensive/innapropriate sites.

- You can only have one account. Two or more gets a temporary ban.

-NO SIGNATURE/GFX RIPPING! Being a GFx forum, this one is a big one. If it is found that you did this, you will be banned, no questions asked.

Shoutbox Rules

- Of course, all of the general rules apply everywhere. Your posts, the shoutbox, and your profile.

- The same rules for the forums apply in the shoutbox.

*IF the shoutbox is overused, and there isnt alot of posting, the shoutbox WILL BE REMOVED*

Posting Rules

- No pornography of any kind. If there are any links or pictures posted, they will be removed and you will be permanently banned.

-Dont post anything of questionable content.

- No plagarism of any form. If this is found, you will be banned and ALL of your posts will be deleted.

- Do not post links to any virus, trojans, trolls, or spiders.

- Don't post an advertisement for something you or someone else is selling. If something in this nature is found, anyone involved will be banned.

- Don't post anything illegal. If this is found it will also result in an autmatic ban.

- Don't post links to any forums belonging to yourself or a friend. If you would like to make a post/thread about a website you have, you must get the ok from me.

Name Change

Your name is permanent. No changes. It makes things to complicated for the staff.

Signatures & Avatars

- Don't have your signatures abnormally large in size, as it takes longer for a member to scroll through the site. So please be cautious of how big your signature is.

- Dont use more than 3 images in your signature (but make sure they're not 3 BIG Images).

- Don't make your font gigantic.

- No Outside Links to offensive sites, even if they are hidden with the image.

- Don't have anything offensive in your signature.

- When linking to an offsite avatar, make sure the dimmensions still follow the rule of 150x200 pixels. The file size isnt a big deal.


GS Warning System

Warnings are not a good thing to get (obviously). If you follow the rules above, you shouldn't have a problem. If you keep being a disturbance while your warning level raises, you will most likely get banned. Don't assume every violation puts you at a little Warning level. It is possible to be banned at first offense.

*Warnings will be PM'd to you.

Warnings that don't involve permanent banning will eventually be removed after 1 month.

ONCE YOUR WARNING LEVEL HITS 100, YOU WILL BE BANNED!

STAFF RULES- Only staff members and applicants read beyond this point.

- Never post in locked threads/forums
- Head Mod is basically second in command. He is in charge of all mods, the founder is in charge of him. The Head GFx Designer is in charge of the GFx Designers, and the founder is in charge of him.
*Everything else you can possibly need to know is explained below*

Moderators

Your job is to keep the forums safe, watch over the forums, and watch over the members. When you are a mod, you must use your power responsibly. Any complaints about misuse or abuse of power, will be taken up with you, leading to a possible strip of position and/or ban. Also, if there is any unnecessary banning found at any time, you will be fired. Use your judgement; only ban when necessary. If it is something minor, issue a warning. The more severe, the higher the warning. And if you ever think it would be funny, to ban me (_Dante_), your butt will be out of here faster than you can say, "oops."

GFx Designers

You are the artists. Many people don't have this skills or programs to make avatars, sigs, and various other things. That's where you guys come in. Check the "GFx Request" forum to see if there are any people asking for a piece of art. Also, since you are the best of the best, you should help other users that require assistance. After all, this is a GFx forum.

Head Moderator

You are the head moderator. You are the top dog of all the moderators. In order to obtain this position, you must first become a mod, then be promoted. If there are any meetings, you will be there to speak for all the moderators. Also, everything that applies for a mod also applies for you.

Head GFx Designer

You are the head designer. You are the top dog of all the designers. In order to obtain this position, you must first become a GFx Designer, then be promoted. If there are any meetings, you will be there to speak for all the GFx designers. Also, everything that applies for a GFx Designer also applies for you.

All staff has access to staff discussion. Also, always pay attention to the staff discussion section of the forums. This is where the staff can talk about current issues and resolve them in privacy.
